Affording a GDA Education

Gloria Deo Academy offers a life-giving campus community where students are taught as whole people to become lifelong servants, lifelong learners, and lifelong worshippers. Our clear and distinctive mission and vision are focused on an environment that is spiritually and academically rich, led by fully committed faculty and guided by an admissions process intended to bring in as many mission-fit families and students as possible. We believe that mission-fit families will strengthen our school for today and for the future.

A robust tuition assistance program supports Gloria Deo Academy’s commitment to admitting the best mission-fit families and students irrespective of their ability to pay full tuition. We are looking for students who fit our school culture academically and behaviorally and for parents who resonate deeply with our mission. We encourage any family who could benefit from assistance to apply.

Tuition assistance at Gloria Deo Academy is need-based rather than merit-based. Tuition assistance award decisions are guided by data submitted to FACTS student information system (SIS). Although financial need is our baseline in reviewing tuition assistance applications, several factors are considered in offering awards—number of students, other dependents, assets, liabilities, extenuating circumstances, etc.

Families seeking tuition assistance must submit an application for admission before submitting the FACTS (SIS) tuition assistance application by the deadline of July 15. Gloria Deo Academy must determine if a student/family will be a good fit for our Christian, classical, collaborative model prior to awarding tuition assistance. This determination is made as a family is going through the application process. Tuition assistance awards are made for one school year at a time and families seeking tuition assistance must reapply each year.

The application process is self-guided. You may navigate in and out of the program, allowing you to partially complete an application and go back to it at a later time. You will be required to upload a copy of your current year tax returns (State and Federal taxes where applicable) with all schedules and W-2’s. A non-refundable third party application fee of $40 per household is collected by FACTS (SIS) at the end of the application.

FACTS (SIS) will provide Gloria Deo Academy a need-based analysis which ensures that our process for establishing financial need adheres to nationally established standards. To ease the online application process, FACTS (SIS) provides customer support at 866-441-4637.

Notification of tuition assistance awards will be made prior to the start of school in August (or sooner if all needed documents are submitted). Because tuition assistance funds are limited and needs are high, late applications for assistance may result in unavailability of funds.
