Preschool

Gloria Deo Academy Pre-K currently serves forty students in our Pre-K 3 (Cubs) and Pre-K 4 (Little Lions) classes. The program launched alongside the main campus in 2012 with only five students and has grown into a successful and thriving program.

We provide a structured classical Christian Pre-K program staffed by highly qualified and enthusiastic teachers with hearts for loving and teaching young children. The student-teacher classroom ratio is 8:1 in Pre-K 3 and 12:1 in our Pre-K 4. Our Pre-K curriculum is designed to teach and equip the whole child, focusing on five areas of child development: educational, emotional, spiritual, social, and physical.

Classes are kindergarten preparatory in nature. Students learn reading readiness and phonics, verbal and language proficiency, fine and gross motor skills, basic math concepts, and more. Periodic assessments are provided, along with monthly newsletters, weekly emails, and photos of children at work and play, detailing curriculum in action.

Our Pre-K teachers provide a caring and nurturing environment for our littlest learners as they begin to grow into who God created them to be. Pre-K children are encouraged to explore the beauty and wonder of God’s creation through Bible stories and characters, free exploration, art and sensory, music and movement, hands on crafts, dramatic play, and more.

GDA Pre-K students follow the school calendar and dress code, attend monthly chapels, and participate in school-wide activities and events. When your child becomes a part of our Pre-K Program they become part of the GDA family.
